Edmonton Mayoral debate

Corporate Event Coverage Case Study

Project Overview

On September 12, 2025, the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce hosted a non-partisan mayoral debate at the JW Marriott Edmonton – Wayne Gretzky Ballroom, bringing together leading candidates at a pivotal moment for the city. The event focused on Edmonton’s future—its economy, growth, public safety, and infrastructure—and was broadcast live with a post-debate networking reception.

Candidates were selected through independent polling conducted by Leger, reinforcing the Chamber’s commitment to fairness and transparency.

Our Role

We were brought in to capture the debate as it unfolded—key moments on stage, candidate interactions, audience engagement, and the overall atmosphere. The goal was to create clean, professional visuals that felt honest and neutral, while being practical for media, social, and long-term use.

Use of Photography

The images were used to extend the impact of the event beyond debate night.

  • LinkedIn: Event recaps, leadership-focused storytelling, sponsor recognition, and post-event engagement within Edmonton’s business community.

  • Other social platforms: Visual highlights, media coverage promotion, and broader public reach.

  • Website & media: Press releases, recap articles, and archival documentation.
